About the Founder – Haroon Jamil

I’m a finance professional with over 10 years of experience in accounting, tax, and financial operations across Canada, the UK, and the UAE. My career includes roles with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC UK) — where I developed strong expertise in compliance, client service, and financial reporting.

I hold a BSc in Accounting & Finance (UK) and an MBA (UK), along with advanced training in Data Analysis. I’m currently pursuing the Certified Management Accountant (CMA – US) designation to further strengthen my expertise in management accounting and financial decision-making.

Drawing on this international experience, I founded CloudBook UAE — a remote bookkeeping service built to help freelancers and small businesses in Dubai stay VAT-ready, compliant, and stress-free.
